Antique French brass hardware necklace with black onyx and red jasper

This antique 19th century brass hardware from France will intrigue you.  The lyrical design of palm fronds, flourishes and flowers are masterful. A counterchange effect is created with polished black onyx and brick-red jasper beads that flank each side. The back of the pendant is finished with thick leather and two steel screws that secure the leather to the hardware (unusual? Yes but very cool.)  On a 6mm round dark brown leather cord that measures about 20 inches around. Bullet shell casings and an oversize brass lobster clasp.  Wear it on a dark turtleneck for stunning effect!
